Katrina's background includes grantmaking at family foundations and advising individual donors, which informs her strategic planning, landscape analysis, portfolio development, and impact evaluation.

She earned a Masters in Sociology of Education from the University of Queensland, Australia, and has undergone leadership development training with Coro of Northern California and the Institute for Interactive Social Change. Katrina resides in the Jamaica Plain neighborhood of Boston, MA.
